Are there any additional costs?

Yes, in addition to the tuition for the academy, you will also need to pay the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) for your initial application fees. Easily the best, most comprehensive training I've received anywhere in the world. Learned so much in a short space of time, but also gained the confidence to use it. Still, use some of the instructor's ways of explaining some techniques to help new medics.

The online resources were extremely well organized and helpful for self-motivated learners. Quizzes at the end of each chapter helped designate your areas of weakness. The on-site clinical week was an awesome experience. The environment was extremely friendly and relaxing. Lessons were full of information and led by experts in the field who clearly demonstrated all clinical skills and were very approachable to questions. The on-site week made the hands-on portion of the exam easy. Thank you, Ryan Asher and the rest of the guys!

This was a great program. I took the online EMT course and passed the August Skills Week for the first time. I passed the EMT National Registry written test a few days after returning from Skills Week. The program requires hard work and dedication, (as it should given the subject matter), but I would highly recommend it. I learned much more than those taking the EMT course offered by the county where I am a volunteer firefighter. Many people I know are struggling with the National Registry exam, but I felt very well prepared. The instructors were great and the facilities at Post Falls were very good. The food, atmosphere, and friends I made were all terrific. I plan to take EMT refreshers and additional training through this company.

Just finished the EMT-B course, very well organized, plenty of resources. The skills week was great and all the guys that helped made sure we were prepared for certification. Big thank you to all of you.

I completed the EMT-B course in August 2015. The program was exactly what I needed with the online knowledge-based course and the intensive skills week for hands-on practical training. They provided us with many resources including audiobooks, physical textbooks and workbooks, online lectures, and continuous support and communication. As a volunteer, I had to juggle the time I devoted to my regular job with EMT training options. This was the best choice for me. I felt extremely prepared for the practical exam (administered on the final day of our skills week class) and for the computer-based knowledge exam that I took two weeks after the course. For someone that can handle the online learning environment, I would highly recommend this program. The instructors are great and go out of their way for their students.
