CE Broker

What is CE Broker?

CE Broker is the official continuing education tracking system for the Florida Department of Health, the Ohio Board of Speech, and other regulating agencies in the United States.

If you are a healthcare professional in Florida, the Department of Health will use the CE Broker service to review your CE records during license renewals.

The Department requires all Florida licensees to create an account, post courses, and complete any necessary hours before the license renewal deadline.

How does it work?

Florida board-approved educational providers must report your CE within 90 days. A handful of providers, like the Florida Medical Association, voluntarily report as well.

A valid license number in your Impact EMS CE account is required to report your CE credits to CE Broker.

CE Tracking & Reporting

Impact EMS works with CE Broker to make continuing education tracking easier. CE Broker keeps track of all your course completions and immediately reports it to your state board. Your state board may use this information to ensure you’ve completed the continuing education required for you to qualify for license renewal.

CE Broker may also make your records available to your employer if you have an employer-issued account.

Impact EMS submits earned credits to CE Broker for the following Florida licensed healthcare professionals: EMRs, AEMTs, Paramedics, and Nurses.

How often does Impact EMS report to CE Broker?

ImpactEMS.com reports completed course information to CE Broker by the third business day each month for courses completed during the prior month. During January to March in even years, we submit every Monday for courses completed during the prior 7 days.

However, your license number must be included in your Impact EMS professional profile information for your completed courses to be reported to CE Broker. To update this information, hover over the “Profile” button in the upper-right corner of the screen and select “Access My CE Portal”. Once in your CE Portal, click on the Profile icon in the upper-right corner of the screen and select “My Profile”, then click the “Professional Profile” link in the left-hand navigation. Here you will be able to select the relevant Professional Designation(s) and enter your license information per state.

If you would rather report your hours yourself, you can do so in your CE Broker account.

How long does it take for CE Broker to receive CEUs?

Once we submit your CE credits, it takes CE Broker approximately 24-48 hours to process the hours. You can expect your completed credits to appear in CE Broker within that 48-hour period.
